Fall Semester

  • The semester begins around September 8, and ends around December 20.

  •  All international students who do not meet the TOEFL requirement must take an ESL course in the Fall semester. This means taking 5 courses altogether in the Fall semester. (Tuition for the ESL course is $450, as of 2002.)

  •  Winter vacation, 3 to 4 weeks after the fall semester ends and before the spring semester starts.

Spring Semester

  • The semester starts in mid January, and ends around May 10.

  • Spring break, one week In March or April.

Summer Semester

  • The semester starts around May 11 and ends in mid August.

  • Summer break, one week in June.

  • Summer break, one week in July.
